Testimonials:

By RS, Arlington, VA:

"During my early 20's I had the privilege of working with Angela Martin.  Now, approaching 30, I have continued that relationship and see her life to be an example of strength, kindness, stability and progress. She is often a person I consult when I am in a time of need because she has proven herself to consistently bring clarity and confidence to my life's direction. Her bold focus and talent for success has been an enormous resource in a world where good friends and advice are difficult to find."

Punctuality Post-it

Posted by Angela on December 8, 2008

I love Post-it notes—any size, any color, any shape (except when they’re the lined ones). I have three stuck to the drawers of my roll top desk to remind me of quotes that have recently inspired me to action, either in my own life or in the aid of another. My favorite at the moment is the Punctuality Post-it. A few months ago I saw a clip of the actor Bruce Willis talking about his first and only tardiness reprimand from Paul Newman. Willis had arrived a few minutes late to their movie set after driving in a snowstorm. Despite what some might consider to be a valid excuse, Newman addressed pointedly, “Punctuality is the courtesy of kings.” Willis was never late again, he said. I respect both men—one for speaking up and the other for recognizing the respect for others that’s displayed in punctuality.
